Caroline Herrera Resort 2018
December 14, 2017

October 3, 2017

Design duo Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia took a loose, playful approach for the Oscar de la Renta Resort 2018 Collection. Citrusy orange notes, palm greens, tropical prints and a champagne sipping monkey being highlights of the collection.

Kim and Garcia are tasked with balancing the past and the present, representing signature Oscar style with casual elements from today’s everyday, casual style. But the teams casual approach only went so far. There are still plenty of signature looks. From tweed favorites to cocktail dresses and gowns, classic Oscar de la Renta is still well represented.

Sparkle and Shine

It’s glitter for grown ups… bedazzled looks for day and evening. We love a little twinkle and its coming for you this Fall! A trend often left for evening, don’t hesitate to add it to your daytime look. Start with a subtle shine on your shoes or handbag and work your way to a all over sequined blazer or a head to toe gown.

Planting the Summer Seeds
June 1, 2017

Summer in Texas is always a fan favorite; we adore the heat and wait for the summer season all year long, and then revel in it when finally around. One of the seasons biggest trends being seen all over the store include minimalistic botanical prints, some of our favorites are inspired by the Texas landscape itself!
The look shown here features a fun, palm tree print top from Milly, paired back with an easy pair of distressed skinnies from DL1961 (these specific jeans have the finished hem cut off, so no worrying about your height, they fit everyone nicely). To keep the look edgy and fashion-forward, the simply accessories bring a warmer feel, with the gold accents, including a feather earring and a suede choker (worn here as a headband). This Frye handbag is in such a supple leather, but being rendered in the beautiful cognac color will help the bag continue to look chic with a little age worked into it. Finishing the outfit with a Kate Spade desert-print wedge really ties this whole look together and helps it look fresh and youthful.
